The club looks to offer both structured coached run sessions as well as social runs, throughout the year catering for all abilities.

SUMMER PROGRAMME: April to September

BTF Level 3 Coached Track Session

When & Where: Every Friday 7 – 8pm @Xcel leisure centre sports hub track, Waterside Drive, Walton on Thames, Esher, KT12 2JG.

This is a coached session by our BTF Level 3 Coach and is designed to improve everyone’s speed and endurance prior to the race season. The session caters for all abilities from the novice to those who are looking to improve.

Social Cat & Mouse River Run

When & Where: Every Wednesday. Meet under Walton Bridge for a perfect 5k loop along the river.

Session: This is looped run towards Weybridge via the tow path. Look to learn the route prior to leaving. From the path you turn right at St. George’s Prep school before turning left through the swing gates. After a short grass run you go through another swing gate. Cross over the road and follow the short path beside the kayak club before the turning right for the final 2k long the tow path. It’s good fun as well as good training.

WINTER PROGRAMME: October to April

Distance: 5, 7 or 9km

When & Where: Every Wednesday evening 7pm (so meet at 6.50pm) @Carluccio’s in Walton on Thames (opposite formulary Home Base on New Zealand Avenue).

Session: This is a organised ‘social’ run where members meet up and run over the pre set route which is between 5 – 9km. This is a cat and mouse style run where members go off at intervals and look to chase those down in front.

NB: Make sure you wear a high viz reflective top or flashing lights for your own safety.
